This year Hockey Dad finished a major US tour on a high after hanging out with co- conspirator Taylor Steele in the beach side town of San Diego California. These three love their watches!
Band members Zach and Billy draw their musical inspiration from 90’s garage bands and Aussie ‘80s punk rock. Their signature Maxum timepiece, influenced by the sounds of the 90s and their passion for surfing, will be launched next year as part for the Maxum Winter 2024 collection.

Introducing Taylor Steele, an Emmy award-winning film director renowned for his impressive portfolio of over 30 films, which have not only revolutionized filmmaking but also left an indelible mark on music culture and surfing. Over the last two decades, Taylor’s influence in the world of surfing has been so significant that Surfer Mag consistently ranks him among the top 25 most influential figures in the industry. Not limited to the ocean, he’s also made waves in the business world, co-founding a tequila company with icons like Spike Jonze and The Beastie Boys. His creative genius has not gone unnoticed, with Fast Company Magazine recognizing him as one of the top 100 creatives in the US.
Maxum is thrilled to partner with Taylor, a visionary who understands the art of crafting beautiful moments. His design philosophy is marked by meticulous consideration, resulting in pieces that are as timeless as they are stylish.
